On Saturday, June 11, the Road Star Section was priviledged to have a private tour of the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida, a nationally recognized center. It was opened in September 1992 in a beautiful, debt free, facility in downtown West Palm Beach. Here national touring groups, local shows and events are held, some simultaneously in serveral auditoriums.
The tour was conducted by a docent. We were excited to see what goes on backstage, and to get an idea of the complexity and coordination by numerous people in staging an event.
There were 32 people attending, afterwards we traveled to the Rybovich Marina for a delicious lunch at M/Y Cafe. It was an enjoyable day for all.
